TREY HENDRICKSON EDGE
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Pass rusher Trey Hendrickson looks like this year’s top free agent and will garner interest from probably half of the league. While he had an injury riddled 2025 and isnt getting any younger, he is still one of the year’s best pass rushers with over 35 sacks the prior 2 years which may lead him to reunite with former coach Lou Anarumo in Indianapolis. The Colts have one edge defender set with Laiatu Latu but former first round pick Kwity Paye is a pending free agent so why not get Anarumo one of best in the league who had his best seasons with the defensive coach.
KYLE PITTS TIGHT END
ATLANTA FALCONS
It seems likely the Falcons will be franchise tagging their breakout star. The Atlanta pass catcher has had an up and down tenure so far since being drafted but 2025 was a career year with almost 1,000 receiving yards and is just 25 years old. The Falcons brought in a new regime headlined by Head Coach Kevin Stefanski and if he wants to build up his offense, it would be smart to keep one of their best talents with Pitts.
TYLER LINDERBAUM CENTER
NEW YORK GIANTS
Besides pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, the name who may receive the most calls will be Ravens C Tyler Linderbaum who could follow his coach John Harbaugh to New York. The Giants finished with one of the league’s better offensive lines but could use more legitimacy on the interior and thats where Linderbaum could slide into their lineup and give QB Jaxson Dart a little more relief as he tries to build off a flashy rookie season.
GEORGE PICKENS WIDE RECEIVER
DALLAS COWBOYS
Dallas is known for having one of the league’s best WRs in CeeDee Lamb but shockingly he took a bit a back seat this year after the trade for fellow WR George Pickens. The former Steelers playmaker had his best year yet in Dallas and cemented himself as of the league’s better pass catchers, including some highlight-reel performances worthy of being a true WR1. The Cowboys are known for the fireworks and pizzazz so why not give QB Dak Prescott back his favorite target and see if he can help build the best WR duo in the league.
ALEC PIERCE WIDE RECEIVER
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
After making it all the way to the NFC Championship, Washington had a disappointing season highlighted by the absence of QB Jayden Daniels due to injuries benching him for most of the season. With the spotlight likely to be on the QBs return, it would be smart to get him another big target opposite WR Terry McLaurin like free agent playmaker Alec Pierce. The big bodied athlete from Indy finished with 1,000 receiving yards but most importantly was 2nd in yards per reception making him one of the league’s best deep threat options. With WR Deebo Samuel a pending free agent, Washington could make the smart move and upgrade with a younger option in Pierce and give the Commanders a fun young WR duo for the future.
KENNETH WALKER RUNNING BACK
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
The reigning champs have some decisions to make on their impending free agents including Superbowl MVP RB Kenneth Walker who should be an easy decision for Seattle. The bell-cow back was the driving force on offense for their championship win and with teammate Zach Charbonnet returning from injury, the Seahawks would be wise to bring back Walker for 2026.
ISAIAH LIKELY TIGHT END
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Kansas City has been blessed with a Hall of Fame level talent at TE with Travis Kelce but with the veteran nearing the end of his illustrious career, the Chiefs could invest in his replacement with Isaiah Likely. The Ravens TE has been the backup for most of his time behind Mark Andrews but when he’s on the field, he’s been a reliable asset and at only 25 years old, could earn the starting role and form a bond with QB Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes will be coming back from season-ending injury and looking to reclaim his spot as the league’s top QB and bringing in Likely could be a good step in the right direction.
TRAVIS ETIENNE JR. RUNNING BACK
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Looking back the last 5-10 years, fewer teams have had more consistency at the RB position than New Orleans with veteran Alvin Kamara. The former Pro-Bowler could be a cap casualty this offseason and could open the door to replace him with another dynamic back in Travis Etienne. Second year Head Coach Kellen Moore showcased the importance of the running game when he coached one of the best running games this decade as Offensive Coordinator in Philadelphia with Saquon Barkley and bringing in an athlete like Etienne could yield great results for the Saints. The 27-year-old back is not only sound in the running game but also a threat in the passing game which is exactly what Moore could use in his offense to help sophomore QB Tyler Shough and the Saints offense rebound for 2026 and beyond.
BRADLEY CHUBB EDGE
TENNESSEE TITANS
Tennessee is looking to rebuild a strong defense with the hiring of head coach Robert Saleh and a good start could be signing a veteran pass rusher like Bradley Chubb. The 29-year-old defender was a cap casualty from Miami and is free to sign with any team he wants and the Titans could be a good fit with fellow star defender, Jeffery Simmons. While he may not be the same player he was a few seasons ago, Chubb still has alot left in the tank to be a starter for many teams like the Titans and would not only bring some punch to defensive line but also a veteran leadership presence to a young lockerroom.
MALIK WILLIS QUARTERBACK
MIAMI DOLPHINS
A couple seasons ago Miami had one of the league’s top offenses led by Head Coach Mike McDaniels but since then the team has moved on from McDaniels in favor of Packers Defensive Coordinator Jeff Hafley and their next big move could be replacing the QB. Former top 5 pick Tua Tagovailoa showed so many flashes of being a franchise QB but after multiple head injuries, the Dolphins QB has regressed and 2025 could’ve been the last we’ve seen of Tagovalia in Miami. If the Dolphins choose to move on, the most logical move if they look in the free market could be reuniting Hafley with another Packer, Malik Willis. The backup QB flashed in spot starts this past season with starter Jordan Love sidelined with injury, and with Miami having multiple connections to Green Bay (General Manager & Head Coach both from Green Bay) the connection seems natural and could make alot of sense for both sides.
DANIEL JONES QUARTERBACK
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
During a good portion of the 2025 season, the biggest surprise may’ve been the play of QB Daniel Jones. For the top 10 pick was viewed as a stop gap option this season yet had the Colts playing as one of the league’s best teams and one point held the best record before suffering a season-ending injury. Now some team could take another chance on Jones but as it stands with fellow QB Anthony Richardson likely seeking a new team, it may be smart for Jones to return to Indy and see if he can return this season from injury and build off a strong 2025 start.
JAELAN PHILLIPS EDGE
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Philly wanted to upgrade their pass rush last season and got a premium asset during the trade deadline when they traded for Miami’s Jaelan Phillips. The athletic edge defender has experience and familiarity with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s defense and had some flash plays during his short stint with the Eagles. While they have some interesting edge players like Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt, Philly could use some true 3-down power and bringing back Phillips as a long term signing would be a smart move.
