2026 NFL DRAFT- FAVORITE CLASSES

CLEVELAND BROWNS

SPENCER FANO OL

KC CONCEPION WR

DENZEL BOSTON WR

EMMANUEL MCNEIL-WARREN S

Going into draft night it felt like the Browns were targeting two key positions- WR & OL. Instead of sticking with the #6 overall pick, they traded back a few spots with the Chiefs and still landed their target, Utah OL Spencer Fano, who’ll likely slot into a starting role from day 1. The Browns targeted their other need with their other first round pick in Texas A&M KC Concepcion to add some much-needed speed and doubled down at the position in the second round with a body target in Washington’s Denzel Boston. Along their other selections, Cleveland traded up in the second round to land a starting quality prospect with Toledo S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren rounding out a strong draft for the Browns in hopes of building towards something good for the future.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

MANSOOR DELANE S

PETER WOODS DL

R MASON THOMAS EDGE

EMMETT JOHNSON RB

Kansas City is looking to get back on top of their division and started strong in the first round with a pair of week 1 starters in LSU CB Mansoor Delane, who is already the team’s best CB, and Peter Woods who’ll get meaningful reps learning from Chris Jones. In the second round they got a true designated pass rusher in R Mason Thomas who’ll bring athleticism and energy to the pass rush group and on day 3 grabbed a good receiving RB with Emmett Johnson who should be a good backup for Kenneth Walker. With the Chiefs hoping QB Patrick Mahomes will return to form, this class could go a long way towards getting back into the playoffs.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

RUEBEN BAIN JR. EDGE

JOSIAH TROTTER LB

TED HURST WR

KEIONTE SCOTT CB

One of the bigger steals in the first round was at #15 overall where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed Miami defender Rueben Brain Jr. who was viewed as one of the best defenders in the class if it weren't for the arm length. In the second round the Bucs got a physical linebacker with a lineage in Josiah Trotter who should earn starting reps early, followed up by an exciting WR prospect in Ted Hurst who’ll bring the big body target that they’ll need since the departure of long time Buccaneer Mike Evans. On day 3, Tampa Bay landed Miami CB Keionte Scott who has versatility and can play multiple spots in their secondary and with the rest of their selections mentioned the Buccaneers took advantage of the draft board and landed some great picks.

NEW YORK JETS

DAVID BAILEY EDGE

KENYON SADIQ TE

OMAR COOPER JR. WR

D’ANGELO PONDS CB

The New York Jets were down to two prospects for their first pick and went with the pure pass rusher who will see a ton of snaps from the start in Texas Tech’s David Bailey. Bailey has all the tools to the best pass rusher that Head Coach Aaron Glenn needs in New York as they look to get after the QB. With their other first round picks, the team got a pair of weapons for their QB in Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq who isn't the most polished but is an athletic freak at the position, and Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr. who will pair nicely with their star play-maker Garrett Wilson. In the second round, the Jets got help in their secondary with a small but feisty CB in Indiana’s D’Angelo Ponds who’ll bring energy to the defense and will be a fun addition for the CB room. The Jets are looking to build for the future, and this draft class is a nice start.

NEW YORK GIANTS

ARVELL REESE LB

FRANCIS MAUIGOA OL

COLTON HOOD CB

MALACHI FIELDS WR

New York’s other franchise had a successful draft as well as the Giants landed one of the biggest upsides in the draft with Ohio State LB Arvell Reese who’ll step into a starting role as a rookie. Following up the Reese pick, the Giants and Head Coach John Harbaugh found an upgrade on their OL with Miami’s Francis Mauigoa who’ll be a road grader for their run game and likely take over for Jermaine Eluemunor in the near future. In the second round, they got a physical CB with Colton Hood who’ll compete for a starting role and in the third round found a big, lengthy WR with Notre Dame’s Malachi Fields which should add another target for QB Jaxson Dart as the Giants look for their identity in 2026.
